With over 4 decades of experience in the education sector, Prof. Dr. Jayarama Shetty navigated through numerous challenges, including the most unexpected pandemic that disrupted our daily lives and work. Despite the uncertainties, Prof. Dr. Jayarama Shetty’s unwavering commitment to education resulted in a successful first year with a remarkable achievement of around 150 students enrollment in I PUC during the challenging year of 2020.
Under the motto "Education for a better tomorrow," the foundation of J S Pre University College was laid, marked by the inauguration of the college building. The institution hosted various events, one of which was a School quiz competition with the participation of around 140 schools, proving to be a highly successful endeavor.

- Throughout the academic year, various sports and games were organized for both I and II PUC students. Saraswati Pooja was conducted specifically for the I PUC students, aiming to instill spiritual, ethical, and moral values among them.
- The management and staff played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth conduction of classes. The year was marked by outstanding work focused on strategic initiatives.
- Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, various events, including Independence Day, Teachers' Day, Republic Day, and Rajyotsava Day were celebrated with great zeal and passion, even in the online class format.
- The initial optimism of returning to offline classes was short-lived due to a second lockdown, prompting a return to online learning. However, the transition was managed effectively, with online tests and webinars on topics like 'oral health care' and 'How to convert introverts into leaders.'
The involvement of parents has been an integral part in all our endeavors, and their unwavering support has been pivotal to our success. The academic year concluded on a positive note, symbolizing a new beginning and hope. The subsequent academic year, 2021-22, commenced with renewed vigor and enthusiasm. The institution, starting with 150 students, saw a remarkable growth to around 500 students within a year. Presently, we have over 1000 students in the campus. We are proud to have meritorious students from more than 40 schools enrolled in our institution.
Under the guidance of our Director, Prof. Dr. Jayarama Shetty, strategies have been devised and implemented to achieve academic excellence and ensure the holistic development of students. Chapter-wise tests, revision and strengthening classes, guest lectures by resource persons from the PUE Department are among the highlights of the academic year. Emphasizing overall student development, cultural events such as singing, dance, mehendi, collage, creative writing, and essay competitions were conducted. Sports also received utmost priority in our annual activities.
Looking ahead to 2024-25, we remain steadfast in our pursuits despite challenges. Our commitment to realizing our strategic plan was unwavering and determined to foster an institutional climate that upholds diversity, equality, and shared values. The college community comprising of the students, staff, parents, and management, takes pride in our collaborative efforts. We anticipate and greatly appreciate the ongoing support from all stakeholders in our future endeavors.

Chairman and Director Prof. Dr. Jayarama Shetty, renowned for his foresight and innovative ideas, organized development and motivational seminars for students, teachers, and parents. A notable free seminar focused on facing public examinations and memory training, providing students with valuable examination tips, confidence-building strategies, and motivation.Adapting to the demands of the pandemic, the college embraced e-learning as a crucial component of academic continuity. In response to the new normal, online classes were initiated for I PUC students, ensuring that education persisted despite the challenges posed by the global health crisis.
